This means we have reliable funds available to keep us running effectively, ensuring employment for Game Scouts, Mazowe River Game Reserve staff, and our small but vital office in Harare, Zimbabwe (shared with Wilderness Africa).
Your on-going support is a wonderful gift.
'Send a pencil'
A gift of money is greatly appreciated however we know that not everyone can afford this.
Ambuya welcomes gifts of lightweight educational items, perhaps things you may no longer want, that you could send directly to our office in Zimbabwe by surface mail.
Here is a list of items we would greatly appreciate to help our schools:
Biros & pencils
Simple educational games for pre-school children
Educational DVDs for all ages
Resources for teachers of English as a second language
If you can spare any of these items please mail them directly to Ambuya in Zimbabwe at the address on the left of this page. We suggest that you -
Find a padded envelope/ package
Send them by surface mail to save costs (they can take up to 3 months to arrive, but they DO get through)
Please put you name and (email or mailing) address in the package as we would like to acknowledge the arrival of your gift
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
